An emergency operations center (EOC) in Southeastern PA needed a control room built for high-stakes decision-making. In this environment, information shifts by the second, and operators must interpret multiple video feeds without hesitation. Reliability wasn’t a preference; it was a requirement. The system had to perform consistently under pressure and give operators clear, immediate visibility into unfolding events.
As emergency scenarios become increasingly complex, control rooms are relying more heavily on advanced audiovisual systems to maintain situational awareness. The EOC needed high-resolution visualization, scalable processing power, and an interface that would support fast, confident action. - Video Walls: Three 2×2 4K video walls form the visual backbone of the control room, delivering high-resolution, real-time displays for critical information. Each wall handles multiple simultaneous video sources for a comprehensive view of the situation from a single glance.
- Datapath Software Integration: Datapath’s WallControl 10 software streamlines content management and layout design, allowing operators to organize information efficiently. Comprehensive on-site commissioning and training ensured the system was fully operational from day one.
- Controllers & Operator Terminals: Datapath video wall controllers manage the large volume of video inputs, ensuring smooth, near-zero-latency performance. Eight operator terminals managing 20 4K and HD sources provide full access to inputs and live content switching.

The upgraded control room transformed this emergency operations center into a high-performance hub for critical decision-making.
