Project Requirements
City of London Investment Group needed a complete A/V system for its newly renovated office in downtown West Chester, PA. Haverford Systems was brought in early during the construction process to help integrate technology that would support its long-term workplace goals.
As a global company that relies on hybrid collaboration, City of London required a reliable setup with clear audio, high-definition video capture, and powerful displays. The solution would be applied in a range of meeting spaces, including an executive boardroom, multiple conference rooms, and huddle rooms. The scope of work also included modern technology for their lobby and other shared spaces. As the renovation progressed, minimizing outside street noise became another key consideration.

Solution
- Video Conferencing: The system was designed to support hybrid collaboration in each meeting space. Sennheiser ceiling microphones capture voices clearly, while QSC ceiling-mounted speakers distribute audio evenly. Logitech Rally and MeetUp cameras deliver high-quality video, supporting both large and small room configurations. A Q-SYS Core processor powers the system, and a Logitech Tap allows users to easily control audio and video settings.
- Room Scheduling: Wall-mounted scheduling panels outside each meeting space integrate with Microsoft 365 calendars to display availability and enable instant booking.
- Digital Signage: Positioned in high-traffic areas, digital signage displays serve as live information hubs for internal communications and broadcasting financial market news.
- Sound Masking: A Biamp sound masking system uses ceiling-mounted emitters to distribute consistent, low-level background sound. This counteracts distractions, including office conversations and street noise from outside.
Result
This A/V solution gives City of London Investment Group the tools to bring a modern, technology-driven approach to its office environment. Early involvement in the renovation made it possible to design a flexible solution that could be adapted as new needs emerged. Each component was selected to support their team’s daily workflow, creating a seamless experience for both in-person and remote collaboration.
